I support the BC government making public car insurance better for drivers. The new Enhanced Care model helps accident victims by increasing support to $7.5 million from the current $300,000 and will help reduce insurance premiums by an average of $400. 

When it comes to our health, appropriate care must be determined by doctors and health care professionals, not by lawyers or by private insurance companies with a profit-motive.

I support public car insurance because:
-	It has been proven to provide better coverage, better care, and is more affordable compared to private insurance.
-	Nobody’s discriminated against based on age, gender or marital status.
-	Our premiums go towards keeping costs down and supporting our local communities, instead of private profits.

That’s why I’m calling on elected officials in BC to pledge to support fixing public car insurance with the Enhanced Care model. We can bring rates down and protect people’s care, instead of allowing private insurers to profit off BC drivers.
